Our classes are fun, effective and safe so every woman can achieve their individual fitness goals.
Gym & Tonic is owned and operated by three local fitness instructors: Karen Bushell, Helen Tiddy and Trevena Feldmanis.
Karen was nurse for 27 years and is a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer. She is a qualified Olympic weight lifting coach and fitness boxing instructor, post-partum fitness and mobility & body weight training.
Helen is a qualified dance instructor with over 15 years experience. As a certified fitness instructor, her knowledge of dance, body awareness and her passion for choreography makes her a dynamic group fitness educator.
Trevena has a background in science which influences her training philosophies. Her focus is on the biomechanics of movement, increasing range of motion, joint strengthening and stabilisation and power.
PILATES INSTRUCTOR - CLARE MUDRON
Clare discovered the wonders of Pilates after having her first son. She enjoys teaching people about how Pilates can transform their bodies and offering clients a professional service that guarantees results.
YOGA INSTRUCTOR - DIANE SUMMERS
Diane has been a yoga instructor for over ten years, and before that, an avid yoga practitioner for over 20. Diane instructs with a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience and wisdom to create a beautiful and challenging yoga class.
